The ongoing saga of the Not-So-Cuterus....

Its another girl blog....so if you don't want to hear about girl parts and stuff now is the time to leave...  Ugh.....after a series of terrible periods (try bleeding for 14 days), doctors visits and ultrasounds...I am back fighting it out with the Not-So-Cuterus....which after I saw this cartoon by  Stasia Burrington... I may just have to start calling her the Fuck-Uterus.   If you want to catch up on the saga of the not-so-cuterus, you can read these posts: https://taradaisy.blogspot.com/2019/06/be-kind-to-yourself-tmi-warning.html and https://taradaisy.blogspot.com/2019/08/silence-invisible-woman.html I decided to call the doctor about 2 months ago after bleeding for 9 days, I had what I like to call the shining... Every hour I bled through a super plus tampon and  pair of heavy flow Knix underwear (that's 8 tampons worth folks) and a pair of pants for approximately 26 hours.   Here is where the TMI gets gross people.... for each of those hours I pa...

REVIEW – T-Fal Triple Basket Deep Fryer (FR50AD50)

I  was so pleased to be picked for a Groupe SEB VoxBox through Influenster .  Groupe SEB is a large French consortium that produces small appliances and they are the world's largest manufacturer of cookware, some names you may recognize are Lagostina, All-Clad, Krups, Moulinex and T-Fal. I waited in anticipation to see which product I would receive to review and was pleasantly surprised to receive the T-Fal Triple Basket Deep Fryer.    While I did receive this product free of charge to review, my honest review of the product is below. The packaging was simple and contained 11 pieces: The outer holder, the removable oil basin, a removable heating coil, a magnetic plug, 1 large fry basket, 2 small fry baskets, 3 basket handles and the safety cover with window.    I think it took me longer to set up my wing station than it did to unpack and set up the fryer! The removable heating coil allows you to put nearly every other piece of the machine in the d...

Sleep Saga Day 38- includes some reviews!!

If you follow me on FB you will know that I am currently struggling with a long bout of insomnia. This is not unusual for me, I have always had small challenges with sleep, but generally, they only last for a few days or so and then go away.   Often brought on by heat, congestion or some other environmental agent. For the most part, I fall asleep quickly, stay asleep most of the night, but if I do get up I usually fall right back asleep and then I wake just before my alarm.  I mean honestly, I can fall asleep pretty much anywhere meetings, sitting up, Skytrain, riding in the car (even while driving right Jenn? - Thank god for rumple strips!)....hmmmm Maybe I have more problems with sleep than I think LOL Anyhoooo..... I am always on the hunt for the thing that will help me sleep best, and right now nothing is doing the trick!!!  I have tried no screens before bed, no water before bed, melatonin, valerian root, cold medication, meditation, white noise, ocean noi...

REVIEW: Knix Period Underwear

Spoiler - I love them!!!! Just a warning….this post is about periods and talks frankly about period-related information   so now is the time to leave if that makes you squeamish LOL. As many of you know I have struggled greatly with my periods (FOREVER) but I have been pretty vocal about it for the last 5 or 6 years.    I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and underwent surgery which revealed significant stage 4 endometriosis (Frozen Pelvis).   The surgery was somewhat successful and if you want to read the gory details you can find them Here It is hard to believe that it has been almost 2 years and things went really well at first and now appear to be heading back in the other direction…..who knows, it will have to, unfortunately, get way worse before they will do anything about it.    This is stupid because I would just rather they took it all out and let me be. Anywhoooo….let’s get down to why we are here….let me spill the tea since my body was s...

Silence Invisible Woman......

TRIGGER WARNING - Surgery and Period Talk I am really struggling with what to write here today so this post may be a little raw and less fun as some of my others LOL   If you don't want to hear about girls health issues, now is the time to leave! I had an experience that really mad me sad and then totally pissed me off!    Have you ever felt invisible? Have you ever met someone who is REALLY REALLY nice and doesn’t want you to worry so they blow a little smoke up your ass and on a good day you believe it and on a less good day you ignore it and let it annoy you a little and then there are days when like it REALLY PISSES YOU OFF….and you just want to scream FUCK YOU….Hear me don’t just listen to me! I don’t want to hear positivity and Pollyanna just because you don’t want to say the negative stuff or because you don’t want me to worry.   Tell me the truth and if you have some words of wisdom, support or positivity that can help,...
