Can you believe it??? only 5 days left

WOW...can't believe there are only 5 days left to go! I had to take a few days out as I came down with a sucky cold, but we are rolling along with rehersals!

I had a nice long one the other day...8 am to 11:30 pm! Glad I got to sleep in the next day. Chris and I took a day to go around to a bunch of the pavillions and we had so much fun! We also went to a victory ceremony and got to see Maelle Ricker get her gold medal! very cool! This was followed by a Paul Brandt concert which i loved and Chris was very good about (even though he doesn't really like country music!).

Working on the closing has been a very different experience than the opening was. It feels more fractured but means that it will be a suprise for me too!! I got the subscription for the opening and closing on my ipod, its pretty cool. It was 2.50 I think and I get a copy of both ceremonies without all the other stuff i have on my PVR!!

The closing is a totally different show and I hope you will check it out! I doubt I will have very good pics from the closing as I have three seperate jobs to do for the closing and we will not get to sit in the stadium like last time! But I will post anything I can get!

Continued adventures in dating.....

Good Morning readers! All three of you! I know you are chomping at the bit to hear all about my wild and crazy adventures in babysitting uh online dating. Well for the most part it seems to be a wash out. I will talk with some interesting guys and it seems good and then POOOOFF...they are gone. I suspect its because i don't jump on the hey come F^&* me train fast enough? Either that or my busy schedule doesn't work for them. For the most part thought its just dudes looking for nookie! Don't get me wrong, it hasn't all been bad, I have talked to some really nice guys but so far it hasn't turned in to much. But let me tell you about one experience I had last night. I have seen this guys profile on a couple of different sites - he uses the same three lame pictures which were taken one right after the other and then describes how amazing he is in the context of the stuff he has and what he has accomplished. He is kind of cute.. i guess...

So excited.....last night I got home from my date (more on that later) and there was a package waiting for me....I almost peed my pants. That could have been from the coffee and large water I drank and then held for two hours and then rode the bus home and then walked to my house basically with my legs crossed....but maybe it was because there was a package. well hello.....excuse me if the spelling is bad, but im updating from my phone in the hotel! Today we slept in and went down for a lovely breakfast and then got ready to go and headed from our hotl down to the waterfront. we walked to the olympic park and then back up to the pier....then we stopped for a lovely peppermint twist mocha at starbucks! we continued on down the waterfront and decided to go to the aquarium.....we got a pic of nemo and dorie! then we went for a beer and grabbed a bus back to our hotel. We got ready for our dinner and got a cab to take us to Cafe Campagne. we had an amazing three course dinner with lovely wine pairings and a lovely chocolate Digestif. Chris wanted to go for another walk.....so we headed down to the park, once there he looked me ddep in the eyes and told me how much he loved me....then he dropped to one knee and produced the lovely mahogany ring box....he asked me if i would make him the happiest man on earth and be his wife. you know me....
