Good News....The mystery continues....

 so guess what??


No brain tumor, brain bleed, loss of myelin or swelling!   No early Parkinson's...nothing out of the ordinary, just a regular brain up there!   We already know from the Endoscopy that there are no growths or polyps in my nasal passage or the top of my throat!


so now what???

Why do I smell this mysterious cigarette smell, and why does Tom sometimes smell it now?   Just to be safe I am going to get a new carbon monoxide detector.  

I think it must be a stress response, we both have been really tired and I have certainly had more headaches so for now I am just going to be stuck with

Oh snap...

I was just googling how to spell Phantosmia (smelling things that aren't there) so I didn't look like an idiot on here and it says common causes (that are not brain or polyp related) could be allergies, migraines or colds which we knew of course but it also says  DENTAL PROBLEMS.

I literally just came from the dentist and he told me that the tooth that was hurting me the other week was weakened by my hormones and my constant clenching and grinding of my teeth and it has to go...it is unsalvageable (apparently its a wisdom tooth?) and that I have another tooth that wasn't bugging me on the other side that needs a root canal (which we knew from before but we were conveniently using the pandemic as an excuse to stay away from the dentist).


Wow that was a journey.....so I guess we go from here....

  • Use the nasal rinse to make sure my nasal passages aren't dry and inflamed, 
  • in two weeks I will have the teeth fixed and 
  • hopefully soon we will have the Eviction of The Fuckuterus and its ridiculous Cyst friend which will either help or greatly increase the weird hormonal shit in my body LOL
If we could get the stress level at work to go down maybe these headaches will take a hike along with the nasty cigarette smell???


but the good news is   GOOD BRAIN!!!!! YAY!!!

Funny side note: 

I told my family doctor today that my mom and sister were going to make signs and picket my OBGyn if he doesn't schedule me right away for the eviction and he just about lost it and at the end of the call he laughed again and said he would watch the news to see if he see's the Lang ladies protesting at the doctors office.

well hello.....excuse me if the spelling is bad, but im updating from my phone in the hotel! Today we slept in and went down for a lovely breakfast and then got ready to go and headed from our hotl down to the waterfront. we walked to the olympic park and then back up to the pier....then we stopped for a lovely peppermint twist mocha at starbucks! we continued on down the waterfront and decided to go to the aquarium.....we got a pic of nemo and dorie! then we went for a beer and grabbed a bus back to our hotel. We got ready for our dinner and got a cab to take us to Cafe Campagne. we had an amazing three course dinner with lovely wine pairings and a lovely chocolate Digestif. Chris wanted to go for another walk.....so we headed down to the park, once there he looked me ddep in the eyes and told me how much he loved me....then he dropped to one knee and produced the lovely mahogany ring box....he asked me if i would make him the happiest man on earth and be his wife. you know me....

Silence Invisible Woman......

Continued adventures in dating.....

Good Morning readers! All three of you! I know you are chomping at the bit to hear all about my wild and crazy adventures in babysitting uh online dating. Well for the most part it seems to be a wash out.   I will talk with some interesting guys and it seems good and then POOOOFF...they are gone.   I suspect its because i don't jump on the hey come F^&* me train fast enough?   Either that or my busy schedule doesn't work for them.   For the most part thought its just dudes looking for nookie! Don't get me wrong, it hasn't all been bad, I have talked to some really nice guys but so far it hasn't turned in to much.   But let me tell you about one experience I had last night. I have seen this guys profile on a couple of different sites - he uses the same three lame pictures which were taken one right after the other and then describes how amazing he is in the context of the stuff he has and what he has accomplished.  He is kind of cute.. i guess...
