REVIEW - Sophisticrate

As you may or may not know, I am a fairly new Planner babe!   What's a planner babe....why a fabulous babe who uses an old school pen and paper planner.   I find it helps with my memory and gives me an opportunity to be creative with my daily life.  Here is a pic of one of the beginner spreads in my planner...

That's not what you are really here for though is it.   On to the Review!!

Hey Planner Babes....have you heard about SophistiCrate yet?  I know I hadn't until 2 weeks ago!  I saw a post on instagram and watched an unboxing.   I love this box because I don't need to get a box if its not going to work for me.

This is a great curated box but it is not a subscription.  You can purchase the boxes you want as long as there is still stock.  The last two boxes have come in at $39.99 for a minimum of $75 product.  They keep limited quantities on hand and this month was a box jammed full of hard to purchase MAMBI planner supplies.

With exchange, my box cost me $50.   If I bought all of the product in the box at Michaels it would have cost me over $85.

The May box was just announced and is full of Carpe Diem supplies including a new planner and all the supplies you need to start up a new planner.  Check them out at https://www.sophisticrate.com/ and let them know I sent you by!  If you want to save the shipping on your first box use the code: FREESHIP.

Okay, let's get down to it...here are the amazing products I received today.

Pretty Packages make me happy!!

It's like Christmas!!!

Look at all this great stuff!

Adorable - pink, mint and black binder clips

Rose Gold pencil case

There was supposed to be a pastel sticker pad that matches the washi tape...but they were short on stock and they offered me the seasonal sticker pad and I was like.....yes please who doesn't love seasonal stickers!

These are adhesive corner pockets....I have no idea what i would do with them LOL but that is because i have a mini happy planner and these are sized for the classic or big.   Maybe a RAK??

SUPER in love with these, you can clip them right into the planner and they are almost full page sized sticky notes.   Perfect for adding in meeting notes or a daily schedule/to do list in your weekly layout.

Some really pretty foiled dashboards.   Again sized for a classic, so not sure if i can use them somehow or maybe part of a RAK.

The elusive Squad Goals sticker book, this has been a hard one for people to get a hold of and it is SO ADORABLE.   The book is broken down into seasons/holidays with those adorable girl stickers and some cute functional stickers and boxes.  The box alone was worth it for this and the skinny washi.

10 adorable skinny washi's in pretty pastel colours.  4 of the are foiled and 1 is glittery.
So there you have it.   High quality branded product curated especially for a small group of planner babes.   I would highly suggest you get on her list!

Silence Invisible Woman......

TRIGGER WARNING - Surgery and Period Talk I am really struggling with what to write here today so this post may be a little raw and less fun as some of my others LOL   If you don't want to hear about girls health issues, now is the time to leave! I had an experience that really mad me sad and then totally pissed me off!    Have you ever felt invisible? Have you ever met someone who is REALLY REALLY nice and doesn’t want you to worry so they blow a little smoke up your ass and on a good day you believe it and on a less good day you ignore it and let it annoy you a little and then there are days when like it REALLY PISSES YOU OFF….and you just want to scream FUCK YOU….Hear me don’t just listen to me! I don’t want to hear positivity and Pollyanna just because you don’t want to say the negative stuff or because you don’t want me to worry.   Tell me the truth and if you have some words of wisdom, support or positivity that can help,...

Tornado no longer?

Hey Y’all Thought it was time for an update as it’s been a bit of a storm since I last updated everyone!    As you all know (all 3 of you who read this LOL) the last two years has really been a journey for me to get my physical, mental and spiritual self healthy.    I have been working very slowly on creating better habits, moving more, eating better, reading more, forgiving more, finding gratitude etc….you know all the good things. I have been feeling physically amazing since the surgery, I barely remembered what a day without pain felt like and now most of my days are pain free.     I knew that I would experience some changes once my hormones were not all over the place and my body wasn’t in fight or flight every single moment of every day!     However, I wasn’t really ready for the rollercoaster that has come. On the plus side, I do not need all of the iron, vitamins and supplements I was taking just to be able to drag my ...

I said yes.....

well hello.....excuse me if the spelling is bad, but im updating from my phone in the hotel! Today we slept in and went down for a lovely breakfast and then got ready to go and headed from our hotl down to the waterfront. we walked to the olympic park and then back up to the pier....then we stopped for a lovely peppermint twist mocha at starbucks! we continued on down the waterfront and decided to go to the aquarium.....we got a pic of nemo and dorie! then we went for a beer and grabbed a bus back to our hotel. We got ready for our dinner and got a cab to take us to Cafe Campagne. we had an amazing three course dinner with lovely wine pairings and a lovely chocolate Digestif. Chris wanted to go for another walk.....so we headed down to the park, once there he looked me ddep in the eyes and told me how much he loved me....then he dropped to one knee and produced the lovely mahogany ring box....he asked me if i would make him the happiest man on earth and be his wife. you know me....
