Can you believe it??? only 5 days left

WOW...can't believe there are only 5 days left to go! I had to take a few days out as I came down with a sucky cold, but we are rolling along with rehersals!

I had a nice long one the other day...8 am to 11:30 pm! Glad I got to sleep in the next day. Chris and I took a day to go around to a bunch of the pavillions and we had so much fun! We also went to a victory ceremony and got to see Maelle Ricker get her gold medal! very cool! This was followed by a Paul Brandt concert which i loved and Chris was very good about (even though he doesn't really like country music!).

Working on the closing has been a very different experience than the opening was. It feels more fractured but means that it will be a suprise for me too!! I got the subscription for the opening and closing on my ipod, its pretty cool. It was 2.50 I think and I get a copy of both ceremonies without all the other stuff i have on my PVR!!

The closing is a totally different show and I hope you will check it out! I doubt I will have very good pics from the closing as I have three seperate jobs to do for the closing and we will not get to sit in the stadium like last time! But I will post anything I can get!

The ongoing saga of the Not-So-Cuterus....

Its another girl blog....so if you don't want to hear about girl parts and stuff now is the time to leave... Ugh.....after a series of terrible periods (try bleeding for 14 days), doctors visits and ultrasounds...I am back fighting it out with the Not-So-Cuterus....which after I saw this cartoon by Stasia Burrington... well hello.....excuse me if the spelling is bad, but im updating from my phone in the hotel! Today we slept in and went down for a lovely breakfast and then got ready to go and headed from our hotl down to the waterfront. we walked to the olympic park and then back up to the pier....then we stopped for a lovely peppermint twist mocha at starbucks! we continued on down the waterfront and decided to go to the aquarium.....we got a pic of nemo and dorie! then we went for a beer and grabbed a bus back to our hotel. We got ready for our dinner and got a cab to take us to Cafe Campagne. we had an amazing three course dinner with lovely wine pairings and a lovely chocolate Digestif. Chris wanted to go for another walk.....so we headed down to the park, once there he looked me ddep in the eyes and told me how much he loved me....then he dropped to one knee and produced the lovely mahogany ring box....he asked me if i would make him the happiest man on earth and be his wife. you know me....
